Who is Denisecia?

I am a proud graduate from the University of Texas at Arlington. My studies included Journalism and English. While attending UT Arlington, I developed strong interpersonal communication skills, crafted my gift of writing and began my journey of blogging.  I am absolutely in love with music and art! Music plays a huge part in my life and has helped me grow as a person. I listen to music in the morning, in the gym, in the car; everywhere. 

For me music and writing go hand and hand. Music and writing is something that you feel, it is an experience. My love for writing and music started at an early age. I began writing short stories and poetry in elementary and I began cultivating my gift when I took on the role as a news reporter for the Tarrant County College Collegian and the UT Arlington Shorthorn. Since I came from a diverse and crime filled community, music was an outlet for me and writing was my voice.

I hope to utilize my writing ability and passion for music to help bring people together. It doesn't matter what gender, race, or socioeconomic status you come from, everyone can join together as one.
